From time to time, you may see a Free Shipping dollar threshold posted on our site. For example, you may see Free Shipping at $75.00. This is used as an incentive for customers to combine several items into a single order. This allows us to save time, packaging and shipping cost, because we process a single order and ship in a single container. We pass those savings on to you.
You might notice two entries for shipping on our checkout page in an area called shipping breakdown. Below is an explanation of how the various shipping charges are being calculated
Promotional Offers - Discount Code Shipping:
This is shipping associated with various discounts being provided on specific items promoted in newspapers, other publications or via email offers.
To take advantage of these incredible discounts, sign up for our newsletter HERE.
These promotions generally include huge discounts on merchandise. The deals are so good, we have to ask for a small shipping charge to continue to provide them.
These promotions may sometimes also include free shipping.
Standard shipping charges include shipping charges associated with other items you may order in addition to items purchase with discount codes.
Shipping charges are calculated based on the value of merchandise purchased. Lower value orders incur lower shipping charges because there are generally fewer items being shipped than higher value orders. As more items are added to an order, the weight and size of the shipping container used to ship the order increases which, in turn results is higher shipping costs from the carrier.
